  • Communications: Messages you send through our in-app chat, support tickets, and feedback forms.

  • Location Data: Pickup and drop-off coordinates, real-time GPS data during an active ride (with your consent).
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser version, unique device identifiers, and app version.
  • Usage Analytics: Pages viewed, features used, session duration, and interaction patterns — all collected in aggregate and anonymized form.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: Processing bookings, matching you with Driver Partners, providing real-time trip tracking, and generating receipts.
  • Safety & Security: Verifying identity, detecting fraud, conducting background checks on Driver Partners, and maintaining platform integrity.
  • Personalization: Remembering your preferences, suggesting routes, and tailoring promotions to your travel habits.
  • Communication: Sending booking confirmations, ride updates, safety alerts, and (with your consent) promotional offers.
  • Legal Compliance: Meeting regulatory requirements, responding to lawful requests, and protecting our legal rights.

4. Information Sharing

We never sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Driver Partners: Your first name, pickup location, and trip details are shared with your assigned Driver Partner to fulfill your booking.
  • Payment Processors: Encrypted payment data is shared with PCI-compliant processors (e.g., Stripe) to complete transactions.
  • Corporate Accounts: If you travel under a corporate account, trip summaries and billing information are shared with your organization's designated administrator.
  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the safety of our users and the public.
  • Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist with analytics, customer support, and marketing — all bound by strict data-protection agreements.

5. Data Retention & Security

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law. Typical retention periods include:

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active, plus 2 years after deletion for legal compliance.
  • Trip records: Retained for 7 years for tax and regulatory purposes.
  • Support conversations: Retained for 3 years, then anonymized.

We protect your data using industry-leading security measures, including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, regular penetration testing, and SOC 2 Type II compliance.

6. Your Rights

7. Children's Privacy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we'll revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
